Job summary

Pali Institute Inc. is seeking an Environmental Graphic Designer for our Running Springs, CA campus. This full-time, hourly on-site role focuses on creating visual systems, graphics, signage, and branded environments across our campuses.

You will design wayfinding, murals, and installations, collaborating with production, vendors, and operations to bring concepts to life. A strong portfolio and production-minded approach are essential.

Qualifications

2+ years of hands-on experience in graphic design, environmental/signage design, or brand production.
Strong portfolio showing environmental and large-format work, not just digital or print collateral.
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign; experience with SketchUp or similar spatial software.

Responsibilities

Design signage, wayfinding, murals, event graphics, and other environmental brand assets from concept to production-ready files.
Design with the physical space in mind: scale, sightlines, materials, and how it will be built and installed.
Manage large-format printing: file prep, vendor coordination, proofing, production.
Use SketchUp or similar to map out large installs before production.
Conduct on-site walkthroughs to take measurements and assess spaces before designing.
Maintain brand consistency across signage and activation materials across all five brands.
Collaborate with Creative Production Coordinator and Fabrication Specialist to move projects from design to install.
