Job summary

The Bexar Company is seeking an experienced Environmental Graphic Designer with a strong background in commercial and corporate environments to join our multidisciplinary design team.

You will translate brand identity into physical environments, develop environmental graphics, signage and wayfinding, and collaborate with architecture, interior design, and project teams from concept through fabrication.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Environmental Graphic Design and/or Brand Identity experience.
• Portfolio demonstrating environmental graphics, branded environments, signage, wayfinding and brand integration.
• Strong 2D and 3D design development skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop environmental graphic and branded design concepts for commercial and corporate spaces.
• Translate brand identity into physical environments through graphics, typography, color, imagery, signage, and wayfinding.
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, consultants, and project teams from concept through implementation.
• Generate multiple initial concepts and develop selected directions into viable design solutions.
• Produce design development and project documentation and coordinate with fabricators and consultants.
• Participate in project meetings, client presentations, and site visits as needed.
• Manage responsibilities against project schedules and key design milestones.
• Contribute to a collaborative studio environment and provide mentorship when appropriate.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Environmental Graphic Design and/or Brand Identity experience, ideally within commercial and corporate environments.
• Professional degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating environmental graphics, branded environments, signage, wayfinding, and brand integration.
• Strong 2D and 3D design development skills.
• Exceptional design sense with the ability to integrate messaging, typography, color, and imagery into three-dimensional environments.
• Experience taking projects from concept through design development, documentation, and fabrication coordination.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop; CADTools experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate creative concepts.
• Ability to work collaboratively while independently managing priorities and deadlines.
