Job summary

Aerotek in Irvine, CA is hiring immediately for an assembler on 1st and 2nd shifts to produce high‑quality medical devices in a clean room. The role involves operating machinery, following GMPs, documenting steps for traceability, and preparing products for packaging and sterilization.

Candidates should have at least 6 months of medical device manufacturing experience (microscope use preferred), be comfortable around chemicals, and be able to stand through the shift.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English.
• 6 months of experience in medical device manufacturing, ideally with microscope use.
• Comfortable working with chemicals.
• Familiarity with cleanroom processes, including gowning and de-gowning.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to produce medical devices that meet specifications.
• Follow manufacturing instructions and update job documentation accurately for traceability.
• Prepare products for packing and sterilization.
• Inspect products using a microscope.
• Ensure GMP compliance in all processes.
• Set up coating machines and coat, inspect, and fold balloon catheters.

• Test formulations and package sterile and non-sterile finished or semi-finished goods.
• Identify supplies that need replenishment.
• Build components for top-level work orders.
• Complete cleaning activities as required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 – $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
