Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Production Assembler for a medical device company in Totowa, NJ. The role involves hands-on assembly, inspection, and adherence to SOPs in a cleanroom environment, with a 7am-3:30pm shift and on-site work at Wayne/NJ area facilities.

Compensation starts at $18/hour with overtime possible up to $27/hour. This contract-to-hire position offers benefits eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package upon temporary or permanent employment, depending on performance and business

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly and production operations for medical device manufacturing in a clean, organized setting.
• Assemble parts, components, and finished products using hand tools, power tools, and production equipment.
• Inspect products visually to verify quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.
• Follow written work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and production procedures consistently.
• Complete all required production documentation and paperwork accurately and on time.
• Handle, move, and stage materials throughout the production process in a safe and efficient manner.
• Package finished products according to established guidelines and quality requirements.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, including cleanroom assembly spaces where applicable.
• Support multiple departments and manufacturing processes as needed to meet production demands.
• Meet or exceed daily production goals while maintaining high quality standards.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Operate basic production machinery and equipment as required for the role.
• Contribute to a team‑oriented environment by communicating effectively and collaborating with coworkers.

Production Assembler Needed for Medical Device Company in Totowa, NJ

Location: Totowa, NJ

Shift: 7am-3:30pm (Monday-Friday)

Job Description

This role focuses on hands‑on assembly and production operations within a medical device manufacturing environment. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wayne, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
