Job summary

U-Haul in Kent, OH is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service team, helping customers with rentals, equipment, and solutions. You will use U-Scan tech, inspect and hook up trucks, prepare invoices, and participate in continued training through U-Haul University.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and maintain equipment on the lot.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane and forklift operations available after certification.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
