Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Newton-Wellesley Hospital site is seeking an Imaging Informatics Support professional to manage image flow, respond to requests for exam results, and provide first-line EHR troubleshooting to clinicians.

You will organize daily image workflows, download studies into the EHR, track missing images, and document transmissions, while assisting staff with imaging software, processes, and patient care coordination.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years clinical/hospital/managed care office experience.
• 1-2 years medical/diagnostic imaging experience preferred.
• Knowledgeable of imaging sciences, software and workflow processes.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Organizes daily workflow of images.
• Assists staff with imaging services and EHR usage.
• Downloads images from external sources into the EHR.
• Monitors study flow and routes in the review stations.
• Tracks missing images to point of acquisition.
• Documents image transmissions and notifies relevant personnel.
• Performs related administrative duties as needed.
