Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate's Degree in Medical Imaging or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of hospital/clinical experience; 1–2 years in Medical/Diagnostic Imaging preferred.
• Knowledgeable in imaging sciences, software, and EHR systems.
• Strong organizational, analytical and project management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Organizes daily workflow of images.
• Assists hospital staff in timely, effective use of services in electronic and manual modalities.
• Downloads images from other institutions into the EHR system.
• Ensures studies flow from acquisition modalities to review stations for clinical continuity.
• Tracks missing images to point of acquisition and documents transmission to EHR.
• Performs administrative and clerical duties as needed.
