Job summary

Covenant HealthCare is seeking an Imaging Transport Associate to move patients safely within the hospital and assist imaging teams. You will help prepare patients and rooms for diagnostic procedures while delivering exceptional patient care and service.

Responsibilities include transporting patients, providing gowning instructions, answering questions, and maintaining room readiness. Strong teamwork, communication, and privacy respect are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Escorts patients to and from waiting rooms to imaging and related departments.
• Provides gowning instructions and answers basic exam questions.
• Transports patients between Imaging and Diagnostic Services and other units.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Ensures patient safety when handling equipment and maintains room readiness.
• Maintains cleanliness of exam rooms and supplies; answers phones as needed.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
