Responsibilities

• Safely transports patients within the diagnostic imaging department, including patients requiring oxygen.
• Provides direct patient care as directed by Technologists or Radiologists.
• Acts as liaison between Technologists and Nursing staff.
• Performs hand-off of care within imaging department and hospital unit, reporting abnormal or emergent signs.
• Verifies all documentation prior to patient transfer.
• Keeps rooms stocked and clean; ensures equipment and supplies are ready.
• May assist with scheduling, appointment reminders, and lab sample handling.
