Job summary

Cedars-Sinai is seeking an Imaging Technical Assistant to safely transport patients to the diagnostic imaging department and support imaging procedures. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of Technologists or Radiologists and coordinate with nursing staff to ensure smooth handoffs in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role involves documenting activities, coordinating with teams, and assisting with scheduling and lab sample processes as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification from recognised authority required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• Minimum 6 months of experience in a health-related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports patients within the diagnostic imaging department.
• Provides direct patient care as directed by Technologists or Radiologists.
• Acts as liaison between Technologists and Nursing staff.
• Performs handoffs of care and reports abnormal or urgent signs.
• Checks all documentation prior to patient transfer.
