Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an ultrasound training program.
• Must meet requirements of the internship/training program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures under general supervision.
• Adhere to professional practice standards for ultrasound.
• Follow clinical program requirements and licensure rules.

Summary:

Perform imaging procedures under the general supervision of Medical Imaging team members, performs imaging procedures utilizing the guidelines of the professional practice standards of specific modalities the co-op experience is in. Perform procedures according to requirements of clinical program they are enrolled in and practices within the licensure requirements for given imaging modality.
