Job summary

BayCare Health System in St Joseph's South is seeking a Part-Time Radiology Imaging Intern to perform imaging procedures under supervision and within program guidelines, in support of the Medical Imaging team.

The role requires active enrollment in Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, or Ultrasound programs and current Basic Life Support certification; on-site, varying shifts, occasional weekends.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Radiology program or equivalent.
• Currently enrolled in Nuclear Medicine or Ultrasound program.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures under supervision according to program standards and modality guidelines.
• Assist and support the Medical Imaging team during the co-op/internship experience.

Summary

Perform imaging procedures under the general supervision of Medical Imaging team members, performs imaging procedures utilizing the guidelines of the professional practice standards of specific modalities the co-op experience is in. Perform procedures according to requirements of clinical program they are enrolled in and practices within the licensure requirements for given imaging modality.
