Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a full-time Sonography Technologist to perform diagnostic and minimally invasive sonographic procedures, manage RIS data, and support patient care and related duties.

Essentials include an Associate's degree in ultrasound, technical program, and credentials such as RDMS or ARRT; BLS within 1 year. Shift 8 hours, days, weekends every other; on-site in St Josephs Main and Childrens in Tampa.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in ultrasound or technical program completed.
• Mandatory ultrasound credentialing such as RDMS / ARRT or equivalent.
• BLS certification required or within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and minimally invasive sonographic procedures.
• Manage radiology information system (RIS) data and related filing.
• Assist physicians, provide patient transport and other duties as needed.

Summary:
Performs diagnostic and minimally invasive sonographic procedures. Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, radiology information system (RIS) data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, housekeeping duties, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary.
