Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a CT Technologist Intern in Tallahassee, Florida. The role requires performing diagnostic CT procedures and managing various imaging patient care tasks. Applicants must possess BLS certification and have relevant ARRT credentials along with a degree in Radiology. Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• ARRT certification with a relevant specialty must be obtained.
• State of Florida Radiology license is necessary.
• Technical Diploma or Associates Degree in Radiology is required.
• 1 year experience as a CT Technologist or Radiology background is needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT procedures.
• Manage imaging patient care, RIS data, and file room duties.
• Assist physicians, transport patients, and handle clerical tasks.

Facility: BayCare Health System, CT Scan – South Florida Baptist Hospital
Location: Plant City, FL
Status: Full Time, Exempt: No
Shift Hours: 8,10,12 hour shifts
Shift: Shift 1
Weekend Work: Occasional
On Call: Yes

Responsibilities

• The CT Technologist - Outpatient performs diagnostic CT procedures.
• Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary.
