Job summary

Cedars-Sinai is seeking an Imaging Technical Assistant to safely transport patients within the diagnostic imaging department and support imaging procedures. You will report changes in patient condition to nurses or technologists and help ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the care pathway.

The role involves direct patient care under technologist guidance, coordinating with nursing staff, and keeping documentation accurate while maintaining room readiness and supplies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 6 months health-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports patients within the diagnostic imaging department.
• Provides direct patient care as directed by Technologists or Radiologists.
• Acts as liaison between Technologists and Nursing staff.
• Documents transfers and reports changes in patient condition to staff.
• Maintains clean, stocked, and safe patient rooms.
