Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking an Imaging Systems Administrator to ensure optimal performance, integrity, and compliance of medical imaging systems and interfaces across the network. • Preferred: Medical imaging systems administration or PACS administration experience

Responsibilities

• Ensures an optimal environment for viewing and interpretation of medical images.
• Monitors and manages interfaces to EMR, RIS, PACS, and Voice Recognition systems.
• Verifies data integrity and optimizes image and workflow processes.
• Assists with policy development for image management ensuring compliance with regulations and imaging standards (DICOM, HL7).
• Assesses imaging modality capabilities to support tech advancements and clinical needs.
• Works with customers, developers, architects, and project teams to understand requirements and design high-quality solutions.
• Maintains project lifecycle documents (vision, specs, tests, training materials) and tracks progress from planning to closure.
• Manages budgets, scope, and resources to ensure timely, within-budget project delivery.
• Interfaces with vendors and stakeholders to drive value, analyze ROI, and propose cost-effective solutions.
• Performs testing, qualification, and validation activities to minimize defects and ensure quality.
