Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking an Imaging Systems Administrator to ensure optimal performance and compliance of medical imaging systems. You will manage interfaces with EMR, RIS, PACS, and voice recognition, and drive image quality, data integrity, and workflow efficiency.

The role involves project management collaboration, policy development, and hands-on IT support across imaging modalities, with emphasis on regulatory compliance (DICOM/HL7) and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical imaging systems administration, PACS administration, or similar in healthcare.
• Lean/Six Sigma experience.
• Health Insurance or Healthcare Industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal environment for image viewing and interpretation.
• Monitor interfaces to EMR, RIS, PACS, and Voice Recognition systems.
• Verify data integrity and optimize image/workflow processes.
• Develop policies for image management with regulatory familiarity (DICOM, HL7).
• Collaborate on project lifecycle documents and deliverables.
