Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking an Assistant Tech Imaging to support technologists, nurses and physicians in Imaging Services. You will help coordinate patient flow, prepare rooms and assist during exams, while ensuring safe, efficient operations and accurate handling of orders and paperwork.

Role requires strong communication, ability to explain procedures, and adherence to department policies. Training is provided, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and teamwork in a fast-paced hospital

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Care for the patient throughout the treatment/procedure per standards.
• Prepare procedure rooms and verify patient paperwork and orders.
• Explain exams, assist in procedures, and coordinate patient flow.
• Assist in locating and handling physician orders in systems.
• Monitor supplies and maintain a clean, organized environment.
• Coordinate patient care with imaging protocols and staff.
