Northwestern Medicine is seeking an Assistant Tech Imaging to support technologists, nurses, and physicians in Imaging Services. The role coordinates patient flow, prepares exam rooms, verifies orders, and assists during procedures, ensuring smooth and safe patient care.

Responsibilities include preparing paperwork, escorting patients, handling films, and maintaining equipment and supplies. A High School Diploma and CPR certification are required, with bilingual skills a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates computer skills.
• CPR Certification (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Cares for the patient throughout the treatment/procedure per standards.
• Prepare procedure rooms and verify paperwork and orders.
• Escort patients and assist clinicians during exams/procedures.
• Process films and paperwork for completed exams.
• Monitor patient flow and coordinate with staff.
• Retrieve physician orders from EPIC, Chartview, Powerchart.
• Organize and prioritize work to meet tight deadlines.
