Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; eligible to sit for one of five national certification exams (AAMA, AMT, NCCT, NHA, NRCMA)
• Within first six months of employment, complete one of CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA certifications (or equivalent)
• Certification required upon hire / EMT license may be accepted in certain paths

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient patient flow and escort patients to exam rooms.
• Obtain vital signs and document visit details.
• Assist MD/APP with procedures and patient care activities.
• Prepare exam rooms, maintain supplies, and help with referrals and discharge processes.
• Support patient confidentiality and promote patient satisfaction.
