Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Radiology Technician Assistant to support imaging services, coordinate patient flow, and assist technologists, nurses and physicians in exams. This role emphasizes attention to detail, safety, and efficient workflow in a fast-paced hospital environment.

You will prepare procedure rooms, verify paperwork, escort patients, and help with documentation in systems such as EPIC and RadNet.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• CPR Certification (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients throughout treatment per department and hospital standards.
• Prepare procedure rooms and verify paperwork before patient arrival.
• Escort patients and assist in exams, with MR safety knowledge if applicable.
• Follow supervisor directions to assist in performing exams.
• Coordinate patient flow and communicate with staff to ensure timely care.
