Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking an Imaging Solutions Service Manager – Americas to lead a customer-facing service team across regions in the Americas. The role blends remote/hybrid work with substantial travel to meet customer needs, drive service excellence, and oversee product launches and cross-functional improvements.

The position requires strong leadership, a technical background in engineering, and a proven ability to manage escalations while shaping service strategies for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Lead experience in a supply chain, project, service, or operational role; a bachelor’s or master’s degree is a plus but not required.
• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading a team, preferably in post-sales support.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Expertise in non-destructive testing is a plus.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving mindset.
• Clear, concise communication and resilient leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support operational teams in different regions to set customer expectations and deliver services.
• Drive NPS improvements and facilitate customer issue resolution.
• Support new product launches through planning and coordination.
• Provide leadership on escalated service cases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational improvements.
• Work with software and hardware engineers to provide effective resolutions.
• Lead initiatives to optimize the order fulfilment cycle.
• Analyze install base data to identify trends impacting satisfaction.
• Identify development opportunities focused on continuous improvement.
