Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Sales Manager for NDT Digital Imaging in the Imaging Solutions portfolio to drive West of USA growth and North American pipeline. Based in Los Angeles or nearby, you will lead strategic sales efforts, build key accounts, and coordinate with product management and services to deliver customer success.

You will manage complex deals, mentor teams, and travel up to 50% across North America, aligning with regional leaders to achieve revenue targets and sustainable expansion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s from an accredited university or college in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in an equivalent role.
• Commercial and technical experience in Imaging Solutions, industrial radiography, CR/DR digital imaging, films, X-ray generators, or related NDT products; able to demonstrate solutions at customers.
• Excellent sales skills with ability to teach, train and inspire others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident presenting to diverse audiences.
• Natural, proactive communicator with good negotiation skills.
• Passion for building trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience providing innovative, adaptive technical solutions and support to customers.
• Willingness to travel within North America up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact and trusted advisor to customers; build relationships and drive customer success.
• Manage the full sales lifecycle to deliver successful customer outcomes.
• Collaborate with customer-site stakeholders to steer sales proposals.
• Cooperate with technical colleagues to address requests and discuss local conditions.
• Serve as central contact for customers and cross-functional teams to enable growth.
• Sell Imaging Solutions SBU portfolio (CR/DR, Titan, Eresco) to key North American customers.
• Lead country and regional sales across North America; manage forecasts and growth.
• Develop account plans and go-to-market actions for Siefert Digital Imaging CR/DR and generators.
• Work closely with product management, service, applications, and commercial operations to support success, pricing, and deal closure.
