Job summary

Memorial Health System is seeking a Radiology Department Supervisor to oversee Diagnostic Radiology, CT, Ultrasound and MRI operations and coordinate technologist assistants to ensure high-quality patient care.

You will lead QA programs (JCAHO, ACR, IEMA), manage scheduling, inventory and billing, and drive staff development. Strong leadership, communication, and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an associated field; if not achieved, pursuing within 3 years of acceptance.
• Registered radiographer (ARRT-R) in good standing; active radiography license from Illinois.
• Maintain BLS CPR Certification.
• Five years’ experience as Medical Imaging Technologist with demonstrated skill advancement.
• Excellent interpersonal, educational and guest relations skills.
• Adaptability to ongoing technological changes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities in Diagnostic Radiology, CT, Ultrasound and MRI.
• Oversee technologist assistants across modalities; schedule and staffing.
• Ensure compliance with JCAHO, ACR, IEMA and QA programs; monitor quality standards.
• Oversee inventory and billing processes; manage supplies and equipment.
• Orient and develop staff; participate in meetings and QA studies; lead special committees.
