Job summary

Physicians Regional Healthcare System is seeking an Imaging Manager to lead the medical imaging department, ensuring high-quality imaging services, regulatory compliance, and best-practice implementation. You will coordinate with medical staff, supervise technologists, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement for patient care and efficiency.

The role emphasizes leadership, budgeting, and collaboration across teams to maintain exceptional imaging operations and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in radiologic technology or imaging field required.
• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in a closely related field.
• 2–4 years of leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Imaging Director with daily operations of all imaging areas.
• Ensures workflow is organized and staffing priorities are managed.
• Interacts with patients, families, staff and visitors professionally.
• Participates in education of new staff and students.
• Acts as an expert resource for imaging staff.
• Manages supplies, equipment and budgeting for patient care.
• Supports quality improvement and regulatory compliance.
• Contributes to performance evaluations and competency checks.
