Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston seeks an experienced Imaging Director to oversee the Imaging department's administrative and technical operations, aligning with hospital objectives and delivering efficient patient care.

The role requires a graduate of an accredited radiology/sonography program, 5 years in acute care and 3 years supervisory experience in imaging, with CT/MRI/Nuclear Medicine credentials as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound and/or Radiological Technology.
• Five (5) years of experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Three years of supervisory experience in hospital Imaging Services.
• Radiology/CT/MRI/Nuclear Medicine/Mammography licenses as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Defines scope of imaging services and determines staffing needs.
• Develops operating and capital budgets; manages expenditures.
• Maintains Quality Control programs and policy adherence.
• Implements Performance Improvement and coordinates with other hospitals.
• Provides training, ensures safe patient and staff care.
• Acts as preceptor/mentor and supports department goals.
