Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced Radiology Department leader to coordinate imaging functions, align operations with strategic goals, and strengthen patient care quality. The role oversees budgeting, equipment maintenance, and capital planning for radiology services.

The position requires 7 years in a large radiology setting with Nuclear Medicine and 3 years in a managerial capacity, with strong HR and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration or related field.
• 7 years of experience in a large radiology department with multiple modalities (incl. Nuclear Medicine).
• 3 years of management experience overseeing staff, budgets and multiple modalities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates imaging functions and strategic planning within radiology.
• Maintains a Quality Assurance program to ensure high patient care.
• Ensures compliance with Joint Commission and regulatory standards.
• Oversees equipment service, capital budgeting and maintenance.
• Manages HR duties including hiring, evaluations and staff development.
