Job summary

SCA Health is seeking a Director of Imaging to oversee Radiology/Imaging services, supervise staff, and ensure safety, quality and compliance across all modalities. The role requires leadership, regulatory knowledge, and strong communication with physicians and staff.

The position leads scheduling, equipment maintenance, and education initiatives, while serving as the Safety Officer and guiding departmental strategy for patient care and departmental operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiology Technology program.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Radiology/Imaging.
• Demonstrates leadership and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Imaging department personnel to ensure high-quality image production with patient care in mind.
• Ensures safety and regulatory compliance for radiology equipment and staff.
• Oversees scheduling, equipment, and supply management for Radiology/Imaging.
• Coordinates education programs and continuing education for staff.
• Performs duties of Radiology/Imaging technologist as required.
