Middlesex Health in Connecticut is seeking a Radiology Coordinator to supervise daily operations within the Urgent Care imaging services, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient workflow.

You will mentor staff, perform QC/QA on imaging machines, coordinate maintenance, and liaise between Radiology and Urgent Care clinics to keep best practices current.

Requires ARRT, JRCERT radiography education, CT license eligibility; strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program.
• ARRT Certification/Eligible in good standing.
• State of Connecticut License/Eligible.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care essential to imaging procedures with professional judgment.
• Rooms patients as Medical Assistant; obtain vitals, reconcile medications, interview for chief complaints.
• Mentors staff and students; supports problem solving and coaching.
• Performs QC checks and coordinates machine maintenance as needed.
• Conducts QA checks for technicians; provides coaching and training when needed.
• Addresses and records errors or incidents with technicians.
• Liaises between Radiology and Urgent Care clinics to maintain best practices.
• Delivers a wide range of imaging procedures with initiative and teamwork.
• Models professional behavior and supports morale in the team.
