Job summary

Middlesex Health in Connecticut is hiring a Radiology Coordinator to supervise daily imaging operations within the Urgent Care setting. You will manage workflow, patient care during imaging procedures, and quality control, ensuring alignment with policies.

The role requires completion of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program, ARRT certification/eligibility, CT license eligibility, and strong leadership and communication skills to mentor staff and coordinate between departments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program.
• ARRT Certification/Eligible in good standing.
• State of Connecticut License/Eligible.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care essential to imaging procedures and follows policy standards.
• Room patients as Medical Assistant, obtain vitals and interview patients.
• Mentors staff and students, coaches, and solves problems.
• Performs regular QC checks and coordinates machine maintenance.
• Coaches technicians and records errors or incidents.
• Coordinates between Radiology and Urgent Care to ensure up-to-date practice.
• Demonstrates teamwork and maintains high staff morale.
