Job summary

Emerus, a leader in small-format hospitals, seeks an experienced Imaging Services Director to oversee diagnostic imaging operations across its hospitals. You will ensure high-quality, cost-efficient imaging services, maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, and lead a team of radiology professionals.

Strong QA, budgeting, and cross‑functional collaboration are essential for success. Travel to facilities as required and continuous process improvement are expected in this leadership

Qualifications

• Associates degree in radiological/physical sciences required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in radiological/physical sciences.
• Current ARRT certification required.
• ARRT CT certification preferred.
• 5+ years of medical imaging experience.
• 2+ years supervisory experience with QA/regulatory knowledge.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and direct Imaging Services operations across hospital facilities.
• Monitor compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
• Maintain facilities, equipment, and supplies for patient care.
• Initiate and actuate improved methods of services.
• Responsible for the fiscal operation of the department.
• Communicate appropriately and clearly to physicians, staff and administration.
• Interact professionally with patient/family.
• Coordinate department training and CQI activities.
• Ensure licensure and competency of personnel.
• Attend hospital committees and participate in safety programs.
