Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. seeks a Radiology Services Supervisor to lead diagnostic Imaging Services at assigned hospitals. You will oversee imaging processes, ensure high quality care, budget, and CQI activities.

Required: Associate’s degree in Radiological/Physical Sciences, ARRT, 5+ years in medical imaging, 2+ years supervisory experience, English fluency, and state licensure. Bachelor’s degree and CRA preferred.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English; written and oral communication required
• Associates’ Degree in Radiological/Physical Sciences or equivalent, required
• Maintains Certification as Radiologic Technologist by ARRT, required
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography, preferred
• AHRA CRA certification, preferred
• Current state licensure as required by practicing state, required
• 5+ years’ experience in a medical imaging environment
• 2+ years supervisory experience in medical imaging with QA and accreditation requirements, required

Responsibilities

• Work with hospital administration and clinical consultant(s) on planning, organizing and directing Imaging Services operations and ensuring compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
• Make rounds in the Imaging Services areas to judge effectiveness of operation, utilization of personnel and supplies, and general ethical and professional atmosphere.
• Secure and maintain the physical facilities, equipment and supplies required for patient care and optimal environment.
• Initiate and actuate improved methods of services and direct their implementation.
• Responsible for the fiscal operation of the department.
• Communicate appropriately and clearly to physicians, staff and administration.
• Interact professionally with patient/family.
• Consult other departments to collaborate in patient care and performance improvement.
• Establish and maintain standards of performance and ensure competency and licensure of personnel.
• Coordinate the department’s in-service training.
• Promote effective intradepartmental relationships.
• Enforce Imaging Services procedures and hospital policies per regulations.
• Plan safety for radiation, chemical, biological hazards and disaster preparedness.
• Attend hospital committees and participate as appropriate.
• Monitor and evaluate performance improvement and CQI activities.
