Job summary

Community Health Systems, Inc. seeks a System Director of Imaging to lead planning, directing, and overseeing diagnostic imaging services across multiple facilities.

You will provide operational, clinical, and financial leadership to deliver safe, high-quality patient care while ensuring regulatory compliance and accreditation readiness. You will collaborate with physicians, nursing, and hospital leaders to optimize imaging services, improve patient outcomes, and support strategic organizational

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 7+ years direct imaging leadership experience if no Bachelor's.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily Imaging department operations to ensure safe, high-quality diagnostic imaging.
• Develop, implement, and monitor goals, policies, and performance standards.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local regulations and accreditation standards.
• Oversee quality assurance, patient safety, and regulatory readiness initiatives.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and multidisciplinary teams to improve service delivery.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and regulatory compliance with Biomedical Engineering and vendors.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive improvements in quality, satisfaction, productivity, and finances.
