Job summary

Intermountain Health Utah Valley Hospital is seeking an Imaging Scheduler to manage the prioritization and scheduling of patient examinations and to provide clear preparation instructions. The role also handles inbound calls, directs inquiries, and coordinates with radiology staff and physicians to ensure timely, accurate exam timelines.

This PRN position requires broad availability across Sundays through Saturdays, with 5- or 10-hour shifts, starting as early as 5:30 a.m.

Qualifications

• Experience using computers in an office setting or doing data entry.
• Demonstrated customer service experience
• Medical terminology or training (preferred)
• Experience in a Radiology setting (preferred)
• Bilingual (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Schedules patients for examination and provides exam-prep instructions.
• Coordinates emergency and add-on examinations with staff and radiologists.
• Prioritizes examinations and coordinates multiple exams across areas.
• Provides information on exam content, pre-exam instructions, and timetables.
• Acts as liaison between physician offices and department on preps and information.
• Answers calls and routes them to appropriate personnel.
