Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare in Utah Valley is seeking an Imaging Scheduler for PRN coverage. You will schedule exams, provide preparation instructions, and coordinate with radiology staff and physicians. You’ll handle incoming calls, inform patients, and support workflow planning across shifts.

Responsibilities include prioritizing exams, coordinating add-ons, and acting as a liaison to ensure accurate preps and timely timetables. Weekend/holiday coverage is required on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• Experience using computers in an office setting or doing data entry.
• Demonstrated customer service experience.
• Medical terminology or training (preferred).
• Experience in a Radiology setting (preferred).
• Bilingual (preferred).

Job Description:The Imaging Scheduler is responsible for the prioritization and scheduling of patient examinations and patient instruction concerning preparation and timetable. This position is also responsible for answering phones and directing calls as necessary.Job DetailsBenefits Eligible: No, PRN (as needed)Shift/Schedule: Provide coverage for available shifts as needed. Shifts are available Sunday through Saturday and may be 5-hour or 10-hour shifts. Start times range from 5:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with shifts beginning every hour thereafter.Unit/Location: Imaging Services at Pedersen Tower, Utah Valley Hospital and Utah Valley Outpatient Center (located on the same campus)Additional Details: Weekend and holiday coverage is required on a rotating basis. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items.
