Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare in Utah Valley is seeking an Imaging Scheduler for PRN coverage. You will schedule exams, provide preparation instructions, and coordinate with radiology staff and physicians. You’ll handle incoming calls, inform patients, and support workflow planning across shifts.

Responsibilities include prioritizing exams, coordinating add-ons, and acting as a liaison to ensure accurate preps and timely timetables. Weekend/holiday coverage is required on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• Experience using computers in an office setting or doing data entry.
• Demonstrated customer service experience.
• Medical terminology or training (preferred).
• Experience in a Radiology setting (preferred).
• Bilingual (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Schedules patients for examination and provides exam preparation instructions.
• Coordinates emergency and add-on examinations with staff and radiologists.
• Prioritizes examinations and coordinates with other areas.
• Provides information about exam content, pre-exam instructions and timetables.
• Acts as liaison between physician offices and department regarding preps and needs.
• Answers calls and routes them to appropriate personnel.
