Job summary

Providence Swedish First Hill is seeking an Imaging Scheduler to manage scheduling for CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Radiology across outpatient and ED-generated imaging. The role emphasizes prioritizing tasks during busy periods and understanding patient history, imaging requirements, and lab results to optimize flow.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent with healthcare emphasis.
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred or obtained within six months.
• Experience in obtaining insurance verifications, referrals and authorizations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule outpatient imaging services for CT, MRI, Ultrasound and Radiology.
• Prioritize multiple tasks during high volumes and coordinate with ED imaging needs.
• Coordinate patient flow and ensure imaging procedures align with history and lab results.
