Job summary

AdventHealth in Parker, CO is seeking a dedicated Imaging Registration Clerk to admit outpatients, collect co-pays, and help coordinate tests in a fast-paced setting.

You will handle calls, messages, and scheduling with Imaging staff, ensuring accurate records. A High School Grad and BLS certification are required, with healthcare/admin experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years' experience in healthcare, customer service or administrative setting preferred.
• Patient scheduling or registration experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Registers outpatient imaging patients, enters orders, and collects co-pays as determined by the facility.
• Answers incoming calls promptly in a pleasant, helpful manner, triages calls, obtains accurate information for messages, and delivers messages in a timely manner.
• Communicates with Imaging staff regarding patient arrival times, tests, and procedures.
• Identifies and communicates priority items to leadership, such as scheduling problems, routing orders, critical diagnostics, and phone calls.
• Performs filing, data entry, copying, and reporting as needed.
