Job summary

South Shore Health System is seeking a part-time Radiology Technologist to join the SSH Imaging Department in Weymouth, MA. You will confirm patient identity, prepare and perform radiographic procedures, and ensure safety throughout the exam and contrast administration.

The role requires MA radiography licensure, at least 6 months of experience, and CEU maintenance. You will work varied shifts and contribute to high-quality imaging and patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education - Graduate of an approved two-year program.
• Minimum Work Experience Six (6) months to be fully proficient.
• Required Licenses / Registrations RT- Radiography Technology (MA state license) or RT Temp - Radiography Technology Temporary (MA state license).
• Employees must maintain CEU activity on-site for two years after licensure renewal date.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and explain procedures to patient/family.
• Prepare and position patient, perform radiographic procedures with proper technique.
• Ensure safety, monitor patient during contrast media administration, and manage post-procedure instructions.
• Document required information in medical records and maintain confidentiality.
