• Enter orders from outside providers and verify completeness and appropriateness.
• Learn medical necessity and appropriate ordering of radiology exams.
• Perform radiology desk reception and direct patients, visitors, and staff as needed.
• Assist technologists with scheduling concerns.
• Assist training of schedulers/volunteers as necessary.
• Oversee scheduling operations within Radiology and coordinate with the Associate Director.
