Qualifications

• Experience with EHR and ADP or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and follow up on referrals for specialties or diagnostics.
• Enter, verify, and manage imaging orders per provider instructions.
• Communicate with patients, providers, and staff with necessary information.
• Maintain logs of referrals and imaging orders; track reports in EMR.
• Collaborate with outside agencies to help patients access resources.
• Attend physician meetings and assist in educating staff on processes.
• File, copy, and fax referral and imaging authorizations as required.
• Manage time effectively and work under stressful conditions.
• Establish harmonious relationships with patients and staff.
• Clock in and out daily; adhere to policies.
• Demonstrate flexibility to handle referrals and imaging during high volume.
• Adhere to departmental policies and workflows.
