Alliance Spine and Pain Centers in Marietta, GA is seeking an Imaging Referral Coordinator for a full-time role with hybrid work after training. You will manage imaging orders via phone, email, and fax, ensuring timely, accurate communications with patients and referring offices.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year in a medical office, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a medical office.
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Execute a clearly defined workflow to process outbound imaging orders for all patients.
• Handle 100+ inbound imaging orders a day with accuracy.
• Assist in scheduling STAT imaging orders and follow up with patient and clinic.
• Communicate directly with patients, imaging, facilities, and physicians.
• Obtain signatures and orders for radiological exams.
• Enter notes/special instructions in the electronic medical record.
• Understand insurance types and benefits.
• Maintain imaging orders under 24 hours.
• Understand different types of medical documents.
• Work efficiently with limited supervision.
• Obtain missing documents and follow guidelines, save imaging orders and notes to the chart.
• Other duties, as assigned.
