RRD Company in De Pere, Wisconsin is seeking a Printing and Bindery Specialist for 3rd shift to coordinate make-ready, run and clean-up of imaging equipment within a production team. The role emphasizes teamwork, process improvement, and adherence to quality specifications.

The position requires basic math, mechanical skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with training opportunities across finishing and press operations. Windows PC skills are desirable.

Qualifications

• Must have good basic math and measurement skills.
• Good mechanical skills required.
• Ability to read and understand specifications and inspect materials for quality.
• Ability to discriminate colors and compare to specifications is required.
• Ability to lift under 50 pounds frequently and cross train across finishing and press operations.
• PC experience and basic Windows understanding are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all press operations during make-ready, run and clean-up as work requires.
• Read docket and specification sheets to follow order specifications.
• Perform makeready, run and cleanup of imaging systems to ensure quality products.
• Continuously inspect product and troubleshoot imaging and press equipment.
• Operate CRT to set up imaging programs and make changes as needed.
• Perform imaging and press paperwork and maintain consumable procedures.
• Ensure PMs are done on proprietary imaging equipment daily.
• Keep press area clean and neat at all times.
• Collaborate with team to reduce make-ready and increase efficiency.
• Follow safety rules and use guards on machines during operation.
• Follow safety, production, recycling and other set procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.
• Responsible for training and supporting new and existing team members.
