Job summary

RRD Company in Wisconsin is seeking a Printing and Bindery Specialist on the 2nd shift (3:00 PM–1:00 AM, Mon–Thu). You will prepare jobs for printing on a Digital Press, set up and release jobs from the print queue, and monitor output quality to ensure accuracy.

You will operate bindery equipment (cutter, tabletop folder, creaser, shrink tunnel), package finished work for shipping, review client files, and troubleshoot issues with Customer Service and production teams.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of digital file formats (pdf, tiff, eps) from Mac and PC.
• Basic color management skills and ability to output to various output devices.
• Mechanical skills using small hand tools to perform maintenance and setup equipment.

Responsibilities

• Review job instructions to prepare jobs for printing on a Digital Press.
• Set up, program, and release jobs from the print queue.
• Monitor the quality of job output for correctness and image quality.
• Utilize bindery equipment to complete jobs (cutter, tabletop folder, creaser, shrink tunnel).
• Package jobs and prepare for shipping.
• Review electronic files received from clients and check for thoroughness and completeness before plate making.
