Job summary

RRD in De Pere, Wisconsin, is seeking a Press Operator to join our production team. Primary duties include make-ready, operating and cleaning imaging equipment, and coordinating workflows to maintain quality and efficiency.

Candidates should have basic math and measurement skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read specifications. We offer competitive wages ($24.15–$38.00/hr), full benefits, and opportunities for cross-training.

Qualifications

• Must have good basic math and measurement skills.
• Good mechanical skills required.
• Ability to read, comprehend and visually inspect materials for quality and specs.
• Ability to discriminate colors and compare to specs.
• Ability to lift under 50 pounds frequently.
• Willingness to cross-train and perform finishing/press duties.
• Ability to train on 1st Shift.
• PC experience desirable; basic Windows understanding.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all press operations during make-ready, run and cleanup per workflow.
• Read docket and specification sheets to follow order specs.
• Perform makeready, run, adjust, clean-up and maintenance of imaging systems.
• Inspect product and troubleshoot imaging and press equipment to meet specs.
• Operate CRT to set up imaging programs and make changes as needed.
• Complete imaging and press paperwork and follow consumable maintenance procedures.
• Ensure PMs are performed on imaging equipment daily.
• Keep press area clean and organized at all times.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to improve efficiency.
• Follow safety, production, recycling and other procedures for a safe environment.
• Train and support new and existing team members.
