Job summary

Advocate Health in Concord, NC is seeking a Radiology Support Technician for a full-time role in the imaging department. The position offers 40 hours per week with schedule Monday–Thursday 10:00–20:30 and a pay range of $18.85–$28.30 per hour.

You will assist patients before exams, operate radiology computer systems, prepare exam rooms, greet visitors, coordinate with physicians and technologists, and help document and release imaging records. This role includes comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Competent in IV insertion and venipuncture.
• Excellent communication skills with patients, staff and physicians.
• Strong customer service and organizational abilities.
• Basic computer skills including email and common software.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in preparation for exams.
• Use radiology computer systems to generate requisitions and check schedules.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms and maintain equipment.
• Greet patients and manage information requests; schedule appointments and relay messages.
• Serve as liaison between physicians, radiologists and technologists.
• Provide radiology reports/images to staff and patients; file and release records.
• Document observations and communicate needs to the care team.
