Advocate Health is hiring for a radiology support role at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord, NC. The position is full-time (40 hours/week), Monday-Thursday 10:00–20:30, with a pay range of $18.85–$28.30 per hour.

The role involves patient prep, room setup, and coordination with physicians and techs, along with entry of orders in radiology systems. No prior experience is required, and BLS is required on hire.

Formación

• Competent in IV insertion and venipuncture, based on department need.
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with patients, staff and physicians.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Intermediate computer skills including experience with applications and e-mail.
• Able to follow directions and work well independently and with technologists and physicians.

Responsabilidades

• Assist patient in exam preparation and provide basic instruction on routine procedures.
• Transport patients between exam rooms and escorts as department needs require.
• Use radiology computer systems to generate requisitions, check schedules and obtain patient information.
• Organize and prepare exam rooms, stock supplies and maintain equipment.
• Greet patients and visitors, respond to routine requests and schedule appointments.
• Act as liaison between ordering physician, radiologist and technologist.
• Provide radiology reports and images on request and manage film/file documentation.
• Document information and communicate observations and patient needs with the care team.
• Perform routine maintenance and quality monitoring of imaging equipment.
• Assist with screening and documentation of MRI implants when needed.
