Job summary

Cone Health Medical Group in Greensboro, NC seeks a Radiology Technologist Extender to support radiology staff by performing basic patient assessments, preparing patients for imaging, verifying orders, and guiding families through the process.

Under direct supervision, you will handle inbound calls, schedule reminders, restock rooms, greet patients and visitors, and perform other duties as assigned to keep the radiology department efficient. Excellent teamwork required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS CPR certification for Healthcare Provider required.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiology technologists with patient assessments and preparation.
• Manage incoming calls and coordinate department communications.
• Make call reminders for scheduled exams to improve prep and efficiency.
• Clean, restock, and prepare procedure rooms for patient care.
• Welcome and assist patients, families and visitors in the radiology area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
