Job summary

Progeny HR Solutions LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse Manager for Diagnostic Imaging to lead the Radiology department, ensuring safe, efficient patient care and compliance with accreditation standards.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of acute Imaging leadership, ARRT or ARDMS certification, a Texas license, and a BLS; you will drive staff development, cross-department collaboration, and 24-hour operations, while aligning with hospital goals.

Qualifications

• 5 years of recent acute imaging leadership experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, engage and cultivate a high-performing team
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills with a proven ability to develop staff
• Visible and hands-on leader who maintains a strong presence within the department
• Collaborate across departments to drive imaging workflow improvements and operational efficiency
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent managerial experience
• Current ARRT or ARDMS certification
• Current Texas State License
• Current BLS certification

Responsibilities

• The Manager of Diagnostic Imaging is responsible for all departmental functions in support of the hospital mission, vision and facility goals.
• Identify the cost-effective systems needed to support the business of the department; considering trends, resource availability and changes in customers.
• Establish effective working relationships with patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors.
• Identify and remedy through continuous customer satisfaction data and employee involvement.
• Work with Senior Management in meeting facility goals.
• Provide leadership and direction and 24-hour operation of the Radiology Department.
• Organize, supervise and monitor the provision of the specialized clinical services, practices and procedures of the Radiology Department; ensure guidelines for accreditation, quality assurance and safe patient care are met.
• Share in recruitment and retention activities.
• Provide feedback on staff mix, ensuring competency of staff through development and regular evaluation.
