The position is full-time with on-call duties and rotating shifts in a dynamic hospital setting, supporting CT, MRI, PET/MRI, ultrasound, X-ray, and nuclear medicine imaging in a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifikationen

• Active NYS RN license required.
• Minimum 5 years nursing experience; MS in Nursing preferred (MS required in 5 years).
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and critical-thinking skills.

Aufgaben

• Maintains 24/7 accountability for patient care on assigned outpatient unit.
• Oversees and directs unit activities, standards, HR, resources, staff development, and cross-department communication.
• Leads performance improvement activities and participates in institutional committees.
• FT position with on-call responsibilities.
• Lead and demonstrate safe, patient- and family-centered care for imaging across CT, MRI, PET/MRI, Ultrasound, X-Ray, Nuclear Medicine.
• Support clinical decision-making; lead huddles, monitor quality data, schedule management, and promote safety and standards.
• Ensure radiation, radiopharmaceutical, and MRI safety principles are maintained.
• Collaborate with modality Service Chiefs and Operations Manager to optimize daily operations, budget, staffing, and throughput.
• Maintain clinical competency for diagnostic imaging modalities and 24/7 unit leadership support.
• Flexibility and excellent communication, collaboration, and critical-thinking skills are required.
